We've been super busy trying to get various home remodeling projects done that I haven't had a lot of time to sit down and scrapbook. Sigh...I really miss locking myself in my craft room for several hours ever week and just relax.
Today I am featuring a super quick and easy Beach Vacation Scrapbook Layout that I did last weekend. It took me about 45 minutes (if that) so if you like quick, easy and frugal scrapbooking pages, I think you will appreciate this layout. My camera is acting wonky so I apologize for the less than stellar photo.
I used a piece of printed scrapbooking paper for my background. It's a turquoise piece with a dark turquoise palm tree printed down the left side. I decided to NOT add anything else really to the background as I wanted it to be a quick page.
I used a vertical 4" by 6" photo of my hubby and I sitting on the beach and framed it with a vellum seahorse themed photo frame. I used a pre-purchased tag and tag holder underneath it which had a preprinted beach & ocean quote on it. I just did my journaling on the back of the tag to save time. It slides nicely in & out of that pocket which I really like.
Along the bottom of the page I added a 4 1/2" by 12" piece of tan colored self-adhesive plastic mesh to add interest & texture. To finish up the page (remember, I said quick, easy and frugal) I added 3 die-cut embellishments: a tropical fish and 2 sea gulls with foam dots. That's it and your done!

You always find such attractive scrapbook paper and decorations. They make each of your layouts unique and very attractive, even when you don't have the time to do more.
