Quick and Easy Miniature Golf Scrapbooking Layout

I love scrapbooking but I don't have 2 days to make one page and I won't dump $20.00 to make a single page either. I am what you call a traditional scrapbooker who likes quick, easy and uncluttered looking layouts.

Recently I whipped up this 12" by 12" scrapbooking page featuring a few of our miniature golf photos. Every year the family gets together several times and we go out and play mini golf. I like to capture these moments & scrapbook them when I can. This page took me 1 hour to make.

My background is made up of one sheet of pale yellow cardstock and one sheet of green plaid printed scrapbooking paper. I cut 4" off the printed paper and then just glued it onto the cardstock sheet.  I slightly cropped down 3 photos and matted them onto green cardstock, leaving a 3/16" border.

I used my Cricut and the Paper Dolls cartridge and cut out the flag pole from green cardstock. I accented that pole with some ink and added a white #1 to the flag. I always keep the scorecards when we play and added that to the page as an embellishment. The handwritten scores are inside it and I also did some handwritten journaling inside it too. I put that onto the page with glue dots.

To finish up...I simply used red tile alphabet letters to spell out Mini Golf and Fun. I also added a red 3-dimensional butterfly cardstock sticker to the scorecard because there were many butterflies flying around the golf course on the day that we played.

Like I said...very quick, easy and definitely a frugal miniature golf scrapbooking layout. In case you are curious, the mini golf course is called Hassel's Mini Golf and it's located in Wildwood, New Jersey.
