Super Quick and Easy Wedding Scrapbooking Page Layout Idea

For the past few months my daughter and I have been working on her official wedding scrapbook. We are paper crafters and are not using digital scrapbooking at all. Sorry guys & girls, I know a lot of people are into that but frankly, I love paper and embellishments!

Today's wedding layout was done in the 12" by 12" size. It is what I like to call a super quick & easy scrapbook layout that is frugal too. That's right, we don't like spending $10 and up for one page and we don't want to spend 3+ hours making it!

The background is a sheet of royal blue cardstock. We then cut a 10" square piece of white with silver hearts scrapbooking paper as a photo mat. We slightly cropped down a 4" by 6" photo and matted it onto navy blue cardstock and onto a piece of white cardstock (double mat) and trimmed around the edges.

We took 1/2" wide sheer blue ribbon and accented our photo mat (as shown in the photo) with mini glue dots and added a matching bow in the top left corner. We added a clear adhesive word sticker that says "Bride and Groom" to the bottom left, a happy heart cutout and a tiny pale blue ribbon bow with a tiny white pearl in the center.

Before attaching it to the background page we cut a silver metallic doily in half and mounted that underneath the photo mat and then put it all onto the blue sheet of cardstock. We finished up the layout by using some silver metallic star stickers across the top and some silver metallic swirl stickers at various other places on the page. My daughter added a lovely clear adhesive "Love" poem sticker down the right side.

All of the stickers and embellishments were leftover from other wedding scrapbooking layouts that we did which was a great way to use them up and we didn't have to put a lot of time or money into the page. I think it turned out rather nicely. Enjoy!
