Masculine Wedding Scrapbooking Layout Page

We have been super busy trying to get my daughter's wedding scrapbook done and let me tell you, it is a real chore! They had over 1,000 professionally taken photos from the wedding and reception which she narrowed down to 300 going into her scrapbook(s). It will probably take us an entire year to get them all done.

Anyway, here is another page that we did. It is a 12" by 12" page (not digital scrapbooking) and for this page we wanted it to look masculine since it featured all of the guys from the bridal party. My daughter didn't want an overly cluttered page, no fru-fru girly stuff, etc.

The background is a sheet of white cardstock. On top of that and running down the center (vertical) is a navy blue sheet with white polka dots scrapbooking paper. I believe it measures 8" by 11" in size. She slightly cropped down 3 photos which were then matted onto a sheet of printed navy blue with tiny white pinstripes paper. She left space above and below the photo on the right so that she could make her title.

She used the Cricut and cut out the letters LOOKIN DAPPER from navy blue cardstock and then placed them onto white cardstock rectangles and glued them into the empty spaces on her photo block. She used 1/8" wide navy blue satin ribbon (left over from wedding favors) to frame up the title blocks and used a liquid glue pen for that.

She had several silver metallic textured paper doilies leftover from the wedding reception. We cut them a part (cut out the circles from the doilies) and glued one in each of the 4 corners. We then took a fifth one, cut it in half and glued one half along each side of the photo block.

One of the things we do like about this page is the combination of the polka dot and the pin striped navy blue papers that we used. All polka dots would of been too girly but with the pinstripe paper added, well...it came off masculine and fun!

This page took about 45 minutes to make. A great wedding scrapbook layout for a newbie or for someone who doesn't want to spend a lot of time or money making their scrapbooking pages.
