Easy Cinnamon Stick Holiday Tree Ornaments

These cinnamon stick ornaments are really easy to make and they smell fantastic hanging on your holiday tree. You can purchase cinnamon sticks at your local grocery store or craft supply store.

If children are helping you to make these ornaments, I recommend using all-purpose craft glue and not hot glue. You can make several of these ornaments up in only one afternoon.

Supplies Needed

4 Cinnamon Sticks (measuring 3" in length)
Hot Glue or All-Purpose Craft Glue
Gold Metallic Ribbon
Faux Mini Pinecone and Berry Floral Pick
Scissors

Tip: I find that hot glue and a glue gun work best for this project but you can certainly use all-purpose quick-drying craft glue.

Glue four 3" long cinnamon sticks together to form pile (see photo for placement). Cut a piece of gold metallic ribbon measuring 1/4" wide by 10" long and form a bow. Glue this bow to the front of your cinnamon stick arrangement. Once it has dried, clip the wire end off of your floral pick to shorten it so that you can glue that on top of your gold metallic bow. You will want to hold that in place for a minute or two to make sure its stable.

Cut a 3" long piece of gold metallic ribbon and shape it into a hanging loop and glue it to the backside of your ornament.
