Scrapbooking Wedding Layout Idea in Neutral Color Tones

Looking for a quick and easy wedding scrapbooking layout page idea? Enjoy the neutral tones? If so, this scrapbook layout is perfect for you! This layout is on the frugal side, very clean looking (not overly cluttered) and takes less than 40 minutes to make. Gotta love that!

The background is a sheet of very pale beige 12 x 12 cardstock. Layered on top is a 10 x 10 square piece of cream colored cardstock. Using a liquid glue pen flat backed sheer ribbon was ran around the edges of the mat square. The ribbon colors (dark green, mustard and rust) add dimension and a "woodsy" feel to the page.

Two 4 x 6 vertical photos were used and were left unmatted. Corners in our color scheme were applied using mini glue dots. We used a premade journaling block (journaling to be added soon) in the top right corner, brown ink around the edges and matching ribbon added as an accent.

Above the photo on the right is a cardstock embellishment that says "Celebrate" that was added to the page using two tiny dark brown brads. Above that numeral stickers in dark brown spell out the year 2014. Underneath that photo is another cardstock embellishment that says "Cherish the Moment" applied with two tiny dark brown brads. Brown ink was used around the edges of all embellishments.

Underneath the photo on the left is another cardstock embellishment that was attached with a small brown brad. It says "Love" on one end. The other end we added a letter "C" that was mounted onto a small piece of sage green cardstock, inked around the edges & then added to the page using a foam dot to give it dimension.

To add just a tad more interest my daughter added hand-stitch lines using a fine tip brown gel pen around the outer edges of the page. I think she did a great job with this rustic wedding scrapbooking layout page idea.
