Kid's Craft Project: Easy Pipe Cleaner Characters

This past summer we took my 7 year old granddaughter to the Wednesday craft classes at A.C. Moore. I believe they officially call them kid's "Make & Take" days. Every week they made a variety of different craft projects and all of them were FREE!

If you visit the A.C. Moore website, you can learn more about these free craft classes for kids. They let you know ahead of time when they will be and what project that the kids will be making. Every time we took our grand daughter, there were about a dozen kids there, never overly crowded. Again, let me repeat this...FREE. Gotta love that!

A few weeks ago they made the Pipe Cleaner Characters and the project instructions with photo are right on A.C. Moore's website. You can find it by clicking ----> HERE.

I just wanted to give A.C. Moore a big shout-out and a huge Thank You for hosting these craft classes for the kids all summer long. Plus, the photo in my blog post shows the particular one that my 7 year old granddaughter made on that day. Super cute!

Head on over to their website and you can print out the instructions to make them at home with your own kids! You only need pipe cleaners and two buttons to make them! You could glue a magnet disc on the back and turn them into refrigerator magnets or add a thing string to the top and turn them into ornaments. She really enjoyed making them. Thanks A.C. Moore!
